The Classes & Workshop

Group Prenatals

Join other likeminded families for a group prenatal class in Vancouver’s Lower Mainland. These 5-hour workshops are sliding scale, and no one is turned away.

Every month we host new families for a 5 hour in-person class — cozying up to chat pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum.

We recommend attending in your 28th 36th week of pregnancy.

What You’ll Learn

→ The role of care providers and wellness practitioners.
→ A deep dive into labors rhythms and phases.
→ Physical, emotional and relational impacts of pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
→ How your support team can nurture you through birth and into parenthood.
→ Preparing for postpartum and parenthood.
→ The basics of parent-led feeding (nursing and bottle guidance).
→ Ending with Q&A time with a birth & postpartum doula!

Private Prenatals

Want a private workshop to learn about birth and postpartum in the comfort of your own home and with your support team? With our private prenatals, Emma joins you and yours for a totally customized prenatal!

Upon booking, we get to know you better and create a custom prenatal, covering from pregnancy, through to the first months of parenthood.

Doing it for the Dads

An in-person workshop meets happy hour, to nurture self-identified dads prep for baby! Becoming a parent is a big deal, and a lot of classes, workshops and education out there are often focussed on the birthing person — so we crafted one uniquely suited for the dads.

We know after decades of supporting families and parents, that dads need some extra love too! We want you to feel prepared for everything from how to change a diaper, comforting your baby, supporting your partner, and navigating your own emotional experiences.

Who

Self-identified dads, daddies, papas, daddy-os, fathers-to-be and everything in between.

When

When your partner is in their 28th to 36th week of pregnancy.

What You’ll Learn

→ Practical ways to support your partner and family.
→ An understanding of how to engage with your own journey through parenthood.
→ A space to ask all kinds of questions — including the ones you don’t want to ask your partner!
→ Destigmatizing and demystifying of language you’ll hear from conception through the first year of parenthood.
→ Ways you can show up for labour and right after.
→ How to babyproof your house, partnership and friendships.
→ All while connecting with other dads-to-be!
