Come join our Brood!
We are looking for community minded folks who are interested in joining our supportive group of doulas and family care workers. We have outstanding clients, and offer flexible hours and above living wages. We nurture our team through mentorship, regular gatherings and check ins, further training, and more, which ensures a best-in-class experience for our staff and clients.
Brood means caring for one other and working together as a close knit team. It means being unique, driven, open to learning, and having a killer sense of humour. It means going the extra mile, forming close bonds, and caring for folks through their most tender moments.
If you’re drawn to working with newborns and families, drop us a line! We’re looking for folks to start right away, as well as down the road. Whether you’re an established doula, mid-training, or have a budding interest in the birth care field, we would love to hear from you!
If you’re experiencing barriers in accessing your doula certification, please let us know. We have options to support marginalised members of our community, always prioritising LGBTQ2+ and BIPoC folks.
*Please note: once hired, we require a criminal record check, an up to date CPR-C certification, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination including a booster dose.
We work and live on the unceded and occupied territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. Since time immemorial, the original peoples of these lands have cared for their families and communities. We are committed to honouring their teachings, legacy and their sovereignty.
