5 Postpartum Supplements to Help with Healing

Supplement with 10 to 30 mg of iron daily during postpartum (and especially during the lactation period) to replenish stores and prevent deficiency. Low iron or iron-deficiency anemia may require higher doses—but check with your doctor before supplementing with higher levels of the mineral.
